Ready to volunteer and help our shelter residents find their forever homes? Our bi-weekly new volunteer orientation session is required for all new volunteers before they can begin volunteering at RG Cares Animal Shelter, operated by Four Legs Good. For the first 1/2-hour, general rules and procedures are discussed in detail, and questions are answered. For the second 1/2-hour, volunteers split up into those interested in cats, and those interested in dogs. They will be able to interact with cats or dogs, and speak with experienced staff members. Note: volunteers must be at least 16 years of age to work directly with animals, and at least 18 to work directly with dogs.
