Assist homeowners and caretakers with TNR including:
What Four Legs Good CAN'T do:
Assist homeowners and caretakers with TNR including:
- Loan suitable traps
- Assist with obtaining low cost spay, neuter and medical care
- Hold and recover cats pre and post procedure
- Trap for homeowners and caretakers, especially those elderly or with health issues (there is always a waiting list)
- Answer questions and provide advice about feral cat colonies, TNR
- Assist with reporting incidents of harming feral cats in any way (it is against the law:, NY section 360 of NY’s Agriculture and Markets Law) https://www.nysenate.gov/legislation/laws/AGM/360
- Possible financial assistance with costs of spay/neuter (underline or bold possible)
- Possible adoption of kittens (bold, Underline possible)
What Four Legs Good CAN'T do:
- Trap outside of Rockland county (we are too small)
- Remove cats either for rehoming or euthanasia
- Feed a colony or provide food
- Hold and/or socialize feral cats and kittens (we have no facility and all work is done out of our homes)
- Come immediately unless we deem it a true emergency (we work, have families or other obligations)
